March 19 - April 6
Effective March 19th: Creative Images Institute of Cosmetology will be closed until April 6th. This includes both the salon/ spa as well as the school. Our main priority is the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and clients which is why we have decided to temporarily close our doors in order to support the Governor’s most recent ban and protect Ohio’s citizens. We will continue to monitor and respond accordingly to the updates of COVID-19 as they are provided. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
We are actively monitoring and this communication has been updated to reflect the outbreak associated with the coronavirus (COVID-19) virus to ensure your safety. We have formed, as recommended, a Leadership TEAM for addressing this outbreak. Our TEAM is composed of our Campus Managers and representatives of our Admissions, Financial Planning, Career Assistance and Interaction areas. To better assist us in serving you during this period we are in contact with and following updates from our Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board (OSCBB), American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS), US Department of Education (DoEd), Civista Bank, Huntington National Bank (HNB), Career Colleges & Schools of Texas, Ohio Executive Branch of government and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
While this outbreak impacts all of us, those at higher risk are older (50 years of age and higher) adults and people with chronic serious medical conditions such as heart and lung diseases and diabetes, especially if those risks are of a long term nature.
Recommended needs to be aware of include:
· Take everyday precautions and hygiene practices such as frequently washing hands with soap and water, covering coughs and sneezes with your sleeve or tissues
· Avoid larger general populations in single site groups of 10 or more
· Healthy people should avoid contact with sick people. Sick people should avoid others as well. Avoid non-essential cruise and air travel
· Review the FTC website for scams and false information
This is very unnerving and uncertain times that we are living in but we hope that everyone is staying safe and positive through all of this. Again, we thank you all for your continued support and we’ll see you all in a couple of weeks on April 6th!
