Creative Images Takes to Columbus for the Premier Beauty Classic
Our two Centerville winners of the Student Team Competition at the Premier Beauty Classic in Columbus
Creative Images Institute of Cosmetology believes not only in the importance of classroom atmosphere but also the importance of real-world experience. One way they exhibit this is through various field-trips and industry exhibitions. This past weekend, Creative Images had a total of 38 students attend the Premier Beauty Classic hosted in Columbus (October 6th-7th). Two of their students (Morgan Burton and Angela Arnold) were picked to provide stage prep services for the Matrix “runway” models before the live beauty show which included hair, makeup, and wardrobe touchups. The students were thrilled to attend and display their artistry for Matrix/LO’REAL-USA, one of Creative Images’ main suppliers and a product line that the students use on a daily basis. After the runway show, participants had an opportunity for a meet and greet with Tabitha Coffey; one of the beauty industry’s greatest moguls.
Additionally, the Premier Beauty Classic also hosts multiple in-house competitions, one designed specifically for students to showcase their creativity and skills. Ten student groups participated in the show’s Student Team Competition with the theme being- The Fairytale. Two of the ten teams came from Creative Images Institute of Cosmetology. Students, AAliyah Lucy and Samantha Runner represented Creative Images’ Vandalia campus and students, Taylor Brewer and Kiersten Langley and model Ben Wong represented their Centerville campus. Both teams came up with amazing designs and expressed immense creativity and passion. The Centerville team reached a second place achievement based on their use of materials, originality, and overall design. Creative Images Institute of Cosmetology is so proud of all of their students and their participation in the show and can’t wait to come back next year in even larger numbers.
